Indian Hills welcomed back some traditions this year including Bring Your Child to Work Day, Earth Day and Arbor Day while introducing some new celebrations in the form of “Hills-a-Palooza.” Our student body, teachers, support staff, student government, clubs, and activities all came together to make for an amazing day celebrating all things Indian Hills. Highlights of the day included tie-dying in special services, crazy kickball and tag in physical education, making origami bookmarks and story time with the English department, sand bottle art with guidance, friendship bracelets and patriotic selfie stations with history, anatomical models, fingerprint art and planting aloe with science, live guest hosts on morning announcements, color by number activities and crafts in world languages and mathematics, building bird houses in applied technology, and so much more! Clubs, activities, games, and music were enjoyed in our main courtyard as students celebrated the day filled with beautiful weather, arts, humanities, and what it means to Be a Brave (Big or Small!) on our first Hills-a-Palooza. #GreatDayToBeABrave |
