Weekend Retreat
April 25–26

Dear Friends ...

Yaffa and I are delighted to invite you to join us for a Natural Meditation weekend retreat April 25–26, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The retreat will once again be held at our home in Santa Monica, California. This is an opportunity to meet and practice with other members of our wonderful sangha community, whom you may have known for weeks or years through our Zoom sessions. (People often fly in for these weekends from all over the U.S.) There's a kind of joyous magic to group practice. Having attended and led retreats for over 50 years, I can attest that they're a giant step in our awakening.

I'll lead several meditation sessions each day, introduce some new supportive practices, and facilitate discussions in which you'll have a chance to ask questions, share experiences, and dive deeper into enlightened insight. Other than discussions and any emergencies, the retreat will be held in delicious, rejuvenating silence. (People, including those who are initially apprehensive, usually report that the silence is one of their favorite aspects of the experience.)

It's assumed that participants will already have some experience of Natural Meditation as I teach it. At minimum, you should have attended a few of our Zoom sessions or done a few of my YouTube meditations.

We're in Santa Monica's Sunset Park neighborhood, two miles from the beach and eight miles from LAX. Hotels and Airbnb's are nearby, as are several excellent restaurants, ranging from casual to fancy. Getting around via Uber or Waymo (robot cars!) is easy. Weather permitting, parts of the program will be held in our backyard, with its ocean view and sea breeze. You'll receive additional practical information (address, what to bring, etc.), when we get closer to the date.

ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED, so early registration is recommended. You're strongly encouraged to attend both days, but otherwise you can come Saturday or Sunday only. (The Sunday-only option is not available to first-time attendees.) The cost is $65 for both days or $40 for one day. Feel free to email me to request a scholarship if that's a hardship, or with any questions you may have.

Register here.

I'm looking forward to sharing this special, very possibly life-changing experience with you.

Enjoy being,
