The Mid-Summer Tee MAL (Make-A-Long) is in full swing and I've enjoyed all the time this past week that I was able to knit with so many enthusiastic stitchers! We cast on last Sunday, sipped & stitched (while working on our tees) on Wednesday, and gathered again today @ noon for more community stitching!

Even if you missed the cast-on event last Sunday, you can still join the fun! Select a summer tee to knit or crochet, purchase the yarn at the shop or online, and we will gift you the pattern! Complete your tee by August 31st and email a photo to info@cambriayarn.com and you will be included in the prize drawing for a $100 Gift Card.

I'm excited to announce a Weekend of Workshops with Barry Klein from September 26 - 28! Last September, I welcomed stitchers to Cambria for a weekend retreat. This September, I'm trying something different. I reviewed the feedback from that event and have decided to offer an A-la Carte Experience rather than an All-Inclusive Experience. Keep reading to find out more about what's planned for the weekend of September 26 - 28!

Weekend Workshops with Barry Klein - Sept 26 - 28

Join us September 26 - 28, 2025 for an exciting weekend of stitching in Cambria featuring a trunk show and workshops with Barry Klein of Trendsetter Yarns!

The stitching and shopping fun starts on Friday evening, September 26th, with a trunk show and wine tasting event in the shop featuring the newest yarns and designs from Trendsetter Yarns. This event is FREE and open to everyone. BUT, if you have signed up for either of the Weekend Workshops, you can start enjoying a VIP Shopping Pass that entitles you to 20% OFF all purchases in the shop from Friday September 26th - 28th!

There are workshops in the shop on Saturday and Sunday from on 9:30AM - 12:30PM where you will learn from Barry Klein, the owner of Trendsetter Yarns and one of the biggest sensations in the knitting world. Barry has been named one of the top 10 most influential men in the world of knitting right along with such multi-talented knitters as Kaffe Fassett and Eugene Bourgeois. Barry is a patient and passionate instructor.

The workshop on Saturday September 27th features the Milestones Long Vest or Jacket. The workshop on Sunday September 28th features the Dot + Colorissimo Triangle.

New Yarns from Trendsetter

The weekend workshops that I just mentioned feature several of the newest yarns from Trendsetter. Even if you can't attend a workshop, you definitely want to get your hands on some of these beauties!

Dot features whimsical, colorful mini-poms on a soft white yarn blended from Wool and Alpaca. One skein makes an adorable Quick Oats baby sweater. Add a few more skeins to knit the Dot Rib Variations Pullover.
