Better Choices in Parenting Talk
Thursday, Feb 21st at 6:30pm in Music Loft
Our most important job as a parent is to keep our relationships with our children strong and close. Without this kind of a relationship, we lose influence as our children grow up. Parenting choices that we make in stressful moments might deal with the current problem, but what do these same choices mean for the future of our relationships with our kids? This session focuses on everyday parenting decisions that we make and how they may impact our relationships as well as alternative strategies that promote closeness throughout our children's development.

Advancing Our Mission Campaign Survey
Everyone is encouraged to take the OLG Feasibility Survey. Our parish and school are ONE OLG community, and as we discern how to Advance Our Mission of MAKING JESUS CHRIST KNOWN AND LOVED for the next 75 years, we would like your feedback. OLG is a stronger parish with our school, and our school is stronger with the support and engagement of the parish. As school families, we have a responsibility to engage and participate in our broader parish activities.  Please take 10 minutes to complete this survey.  Thank You!

Skip The Carpool Line Winners!
Congratulations to Kiki and Scott Erickson as the winners of this year's Gala auction item for preferred carpool parking! The Erickson family will be allowed to pull into the first handicapped parking spot upon entering the upper parking lot, so please keep this spot open. We ask all carpool drivers to be aware of this arrival/departure scenario as we look to make sure this is executed safely for everyone.
Carpool Pick Up Reminders
For the safety of students and families as well as efficient procedures, please remember the following when picking up after school:
1) All carpool pick up must occur through the carpool line. Students cannot be picked up at the church doors. Parents may park and meet their students at the school reception desk as an alternative to the carpool line.
2) Once you have picked up your child(ren), please exit via the Eden Avenue exit. Do not exit through the parking lot to the frontage road. This a huge safety concern with busing occurring at that time.

PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS
OLG Prayer Fair
March 2nd & 3rd After All Masses
Do you have a relationship with Jesus? Do you pray daily?  Are you teaching your kids how to pray? On the weekend of March 2nd and 3rd we will be hosting our 5th annual Prayer Fair, offering 20-minutes workshops after every mass.  This is an opportunity for YOU to attend a workshop or two and hear from ordinary parishioners like yourself, who will share about their own faith lives.  At each workshop you will gain insights into what others have found helpful in growing in their own holiness, hopefully giving you encouragement to say: I too can pray. I too can take time to be with Jesus and know his love!  We have another great line-up of workshop leaders - something for everyone.  In addition, St. George's Traveling bookstore and the Sisters of Mary Morning Star will be offering items for sale to kick off your Lenten journey. This is a such a great gift - a time for all of us to grow in our faith, to grow in magnanimity as a community - to learn how to respond with a heart filled with gratitude for all God has given us!  Make plans now to join us!
