Marathon is Coming!Marathon
Marathon, OLG's biggest fundraiser, officially kicked off today with an all-school pep fest! We celebrated our theme, Dancing with the OLG Stars. Please check your child's backpack today for important Marathon information:
(1) a letter packet(one per family, sent home with the youngest child); and
(2) a financial donations collection envelope (one per student).
Tax-deductible, monetary donations will be collected by the classroom teachers for the next two weeks. All funds raised go directly to OLG to support the Groves Reading Program at OLG, the Design for Learning Initiative and the Technology Fund. We ask that each student raise $150 - but most important is our goal of 100% participation in giving at whatever level is possible for each family. We will wrap up our fundraiser with an all-school family celebration on Saturday, October 6th from 9:30 a.m. until Noon on the OLG Campus.

We will also be collecting charitable donations of specific types of goods needed to support four wonderful charities: Simpson Housing Services, Sharing and Caring Hands, Children's Hospital of Minnesota, and the Ronald McDonald House - see the backside of the Marathon CALENDAR in your letter packet for details.
