COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER:
What a night!

Over 900 Armstrong students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families and friends converged on the Academy of Sciences last Saturday night for a night full of science, friendship and fundraising. Thank you to everyone who attended. The evening raised over $250,000 for Armstrong including our new Innovative Classroom Furniture. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

There are still opportunities to participate through the purchase of a spot in a teacher outing or party, purchase of wine or cougars, and donating to the Innovative Classroom Furniture campaign, but more about that later. For now, simply enjoy these photos from the evening.

SPORTS CORNER:
Sports Shorts:

The rains have been messing with the lower school soccer schedule, but we’ll see if this trend ends soon so the kids can hit the field. The middle school has yet to play a home game for the same reason, and they are approaching playoff time. Please check with coaches about upcoming games and potential playoff games.

Speaking of playoffs, our 8 th  grade girls are headed for post-season play next week. They are scheduled to play the third place team next Tuesday. A win would propel them to the title game next Thursday, most likely against Sea Crest School, HMBay. The Seals are the only blemish on the Cougars season.

Wrestling is now underway also (for those in 4 th  – 8 th  grade)with practices being held in the multi on Tuesday and Thursdays (thru the month of March), after school in the multi until 5PM. Athletes do need to change into sweats/ shorts and a t shirt for practices.
