Happening in October

Faith in Action and Race and Reconciliation
This last Saturday, three of the members of the Diocesan Race and Reconciliation Committee conducted a workshop for 16 Holy Cross parishioners. The goal was to begin conversations with one another through a series of exercises regarding our life experiences with racism. The hope is to continue the conversations so we may carry out our call to loving one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. May our work be pleasing in His sight!
Thank you so much to Jackie Donbach for arranging lunch and baking delicious breakfast treats as well as she and Dan cleaning up!
"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35

Thank you for all the support shown for the Episco-Cats this past Sunday!!
The Episco-Cats group was overwhelmed by the generous amount of donations they received to help support this area of ministry.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Everyone enjoys a nice cup of coffee (or two) in the morning. It all starts with the aroma, then laughter and the conversations that follow during our Adult Christian Formation each Sunday.
Help us continue this practice and reach out to our Coffee Hour Coordinator Kathy Cobb today. Hosting for Coffee Hour is done on a rotating basis so it is as fun and simple as Coffee Hour itself.

A volunteer's primary responsibility is to
make the coffee.
(Bringing in sweets and treats is optional)

THE PUMPKIN PATCH

Holy Cross is not a what,
It's not a where, but, but, but,
Holy Cross is a who,
Holy Cross is me and YOU!

The annual Holy Cross Pumpkin Patch is about to begin.
It's a big effort for Holy Cross that has succeeded beyond founder Ennis Whiddon's wildest dreams. That our church has sent nearly a quarter of million dollars out into our community over the past 12 years for good works is miraculous. And the only way the Pumpkin Patch can continue to be miraculous is with your help.

There are jobs for everyone's abilities and availabilities.
