10 Month Countdown:
Private Sewer Lateral Ordinance Coming into Effect

The goal is to prevent sewer overflows in our streets and creeks. Who doesn't want that?! The solution to such a mess is to repair any sewer lines so rainwater cannot seep into them and cause overflows.

The City of Morgan Hill has been and will continue to work diligently on the public lines. Your participating starts June 1, 2022, when privately-owned sewer lines will need to be inspected and repaired if damaged before a property can be sold.
Learn more about this program on the Private Sewer Lateral website.

There is financial assistance available. The City is NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for the grant programs! Two grants will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget allocation is exhausted. To find out more information and to apply, visit our website.
