The City of Morgan Hill is working to make amendments to the Tree Protection Ordinance, which addresses:
(1) conserving these valuable and distinctive natural resources,
(2) instituting the means for mitigating erosion, fire hazards, climate change, plus reducing pollutions in our atmosphere and water
(3) increasing wildlife habitat, community aesthetics, and shade coverage.
The amendments are intended to clarify what is to be protected, what is not protected, and the processes for tree removals and replacements. Take a very short survey.
