Hello Morgan Hill!
Enjoy the July 4th Festivities, and ...
the Morgan Hill Police Department (MHPD) Reminds the Community of the City's Zero Tolerance for Fireworks Violations

MHPD reminds everyone to celebrate safely and enjoy the holiday, but refrain from using illegal fireworks. Fireworks have resulted in brush fires, damaged homes, missing pets, and unnecessary injuries. In addition, our surrounding hills are extremely dry, and all fireworks pose a significant threat to the safety of our community and can result in significant fines
The local number to report fireworks violations is 408-779-2101.

Anyone with questions or concerns can contact Sgt. Bill Norman directly at 669-253-4982 or bill.norman@morganhill.ca.gov.
Santa Clara County is also urging residents to refrain from fireworks. Read the joint statement from all local agencies to remind residents that fireworks are dangerous and illegal.

Additional regional contact information is available on the joint statement.
We can't wait to see you in person starting on July 6th!
But in the meantime, we are here to help you virtually and over the phone.

We are taking steps to reopen and make sure our offices are safe for our customers and employees when we do. We are planning a soft opening on Tuesday, July 6th, with limited hours. City Hall will be open from noon to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, until we are fully open. Applications for all permits are required to be submitted via email. The limited soft-opening hours will provide opportunities for staff to answer questions or provide assistance with the application process. As soon as we have a date to open fully, we will let you know!

Although our offices are not open to the public just yet, we have been working behind the scenes and are here to serve you! In addition to having teammates working remotely and having calls directed to teammates, our website has a ton of information about how to access services.
