Summer Watering Schedule Now in Effect
Have you adjusted your sprinkler timers to the summer watering schedule? Morgan Hill's Water Waste Ordinance limits irrigation to a maximum of three days per week through October 31st as follows:
- No watering on Wednesdays
- Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for odd numbered addresses
- Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays for even numbered addresses
- Irrigation is allowed before 9 a.m. or after 7 p.m.
- Watering is limited to no more than 15 minutes per station

Vaccines Available
New this week!
The Covid-19 vaccine is now available for all Santa Clara County residents age 12 and older. The Healthier Kids Foundation, in partnership with the County, is offering a vaccination support hotline, details and contact information available.
Appointments to get a vaccine are available on the county’s website at sccfreevax.org, which includes information about numerous drop-in vaccination sites throughout the county.
Vaccines at the Community & Cultural Center, May 15-19
While previously booked appointments take precedence, there will be vaccine clinics between May 15 - 19, hours: 10:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. daily, and walk-ins are welcome. Vaccines for the 12 to 15 year old age bracket will be available. Those under 18 should have a parent or guardian present. The number of walk ins accepted is subject to the number of doses available from that day's supply.

Pride Month Flag Raising Ceremony

The City annually commemorates the month of June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month by displaying the Pride Flag at City Hall, the Community and Cultural Center, and the Centennial Recreation Center. This year, the City will be displaying the Progress Pride flag, which includes a five-colored chevron to the classic Rainbow Flag to place a greater emphasis on “inclusion and progression.” The added five arrow-shaped lines represent marginalized LGBTQ+ communities of color (black and brown stripes), along with the colors pink, light blue and white, which are used on the Transgender Pride Flag.
Please join us for a flag raising ceremony at City Hall. The community is encouraged to attend this socially distanced outdoor event!

Art & Life Skills: Learn self-improvement, decision making, coping with anxiety, communication skills, and social skills while expressing yourself with art. Art mediums may include watercolor, arts and crafts, and a variety of expression paintings.

Valley Water
Anderson Dam Tunnel Project Update

In June 2021, Valley Water is scheduled to start building a 1,700-foot-long tunnel next to Anderson Dam that will allow for the release of more water safely during major storms or emergencies. The public is invited to participate in a virtual public meeting to learn about the upcoming work and its impacts on the neighborhoods during construction.
