Easter Brunch?

For many years it has been a Saint James' Family tradition to have an Easter Brunch. This began as a way to sustain and nourish the choir when we had two services and they sang at both and it grew to a family gathering from there!

Is this a tradition we wish to continue? Or have our needs changed?

Easter Sunday is coming up quick! We want to know how the congregation wishes to move forward.  Click below, or contact Wendy Arntson - ASAP.

To Brunch or Not To Brunch?

Team Meetings

Worship Team will meet Sunday, March 8 during coffee hour to prepare for Holy Week.

Hearth to Hearth:

Art to Art

For our 2026 global outreach goal, St. James’ would like to support Hearth to Hearth in Kenya.

As Julie Lowery shared in her presentation, the children meet after school a few times weekly for club activities in areas not taught in their daily curriculum. These clubs, which receive no funding, provide an exposure to arts, sports and comradery - helping children to develop their passions and talents, when they would otherwise not have this opportunity. Because St. James’ so highly prizes our music program, we would like to sponsor a music club. For $950, we can help fund an outside teacher to give instruction in music (music principles, songs, simple instrumentation); and provide money for travel & competitions.

Let’s spread our joy

through music!

Easter Egg Hunt

This year we would like to try something new.

If you would like to donate to the Easter Egg Hunt, please pick up a package of eggs, provided in the vestibule, to take home and stuff; and then return them by Easter Sunday.

The hunt will take place, as St. J's tradition, on the first Sunday after Easter.

Lent

Lenten Compline

Tuesdays @ 7:30pm on Zoom

Each Tuesday evening in Lent there will be a zoom Compline prayer time for the Lenten season. Many of us mark the season with times of prayer, quiet reflection, special readings and personal devotions. The Daily Prayer of Compline, the evening service, will allow all participants to come to a short worship time in community. A worship page for each week will be available on the Adult Formation page to use during the service and may serve as an aid during the following days.

The link will be made available on:

2026 Lenten Alms Project

for Church at the Crossroads

If you can participate, we are asking families to contribute $1.00 (or more!) for each day of Lent. We are asking our children to contribute one penny (or more!) for each day of Lent.

One-time contributions via check or on-line giving, memo: Lenten Alms by 4/2
