Order Marching Band Shoes/Gloves by Aug. 16 — You can now purchase your items online in three easy steps:
  1. Visit https://royaloakhs21.itemorder.com/
  2. Choose your items and add them to your cart
  3. Securely checkout with your credit card
Please order your shoes and gloves before the store closes at 11:59 p.m. Aug. 16. Returning members, please double check to make sure your shoes still fit and you have your gloves. Note that you will be charged at checkout for your order. However, the items will not ship until after the store has closed. They will be bulk shipped and passed out at the school. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Sign up for Remind today! — Marching Band parents and students must sign up for Remind in order to receive important announcements from the directors. This is for the 2021/2022 season — even if you signed up last year, you must sign up again:

B&O Parents: How to Stay Informed — Information regarding the 2021-2022 school year is constantly being updated. We will try to get the information to you as quickly as possible. The following will help:
  • Remind — Sign up for Remind (see above for Marching Band parent/student instructions).
  • Calendar — Check the calendar on our website — it is updated often.
  • Website — Visit the rohsbob.org website and especially the INFORMATION page frequently.
  • Facebook — Request to join "Royal Oak High School Band & Orchestra Boosters" private Facebook group.
  • Weekly Announcements — Be sure you (and your student) join our email list to receive these weekly announcements. Click on the blue button on the HOME page to sign up. Your email will not be sold or shared for any purpose other than ROHS instrumental music department news.
  • FAQ — Everything you need to know about band & orchestra on one FAQ web page.


Aug. 13: 5-8 p.m. 2021/2022 Kickoff Pep Rally in Stadium. Details available in students' Marching Band Google Classroom and on the ROHSBOB calendar.

Aug. 16: 11:59 p.m. Deadline to purchase gloves and shoes for Marching Band (see announcement above for details).

Aug. 19: 8 a.m.-noon. New Member/Blue Shirt Day (students should check their Marching Band Google Classroom for details).

Aug. 23-27: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Full Band Camp Week. ROHS practice field; lunch provided; students not permitted to leave during lunch. Please make checks out to "Royal Oak High School" (base camp fee of $120 due the first day of camp, 8/23). See the Marching Band Welcome Letter for camp details.

Shop at GORDON FOOD SERVICE. When you shop at Gordon Foods, let them know at checkout that you are shopping for "Royal Oak Bands & Orchestras" and the Boosters will receive discount points to use on supplies.

Shop at AMAZON SMILE.  Enter the Amazon Smile website via smile.amazon.com and designate "Royal Oak High School Band and Orchestra Boosters" as your charity. A portion of your sale will go to the Boosters' General Fund for things like instruments, music, clinicians, etc. (Sorry, our Amazon Smile account is not active at this time)
