Jesse Tree Program

All children and youth are invited to attend a special Sunday School class presentation of the Jesse Tree on December 2nd at 9:15am in Shoemaker. The Jesse tree helps us connect the custom of decorating Christmas trees to the events leading to Jesus' birth. The Jesse tree is named from Isaiah 11:1: "A shoot shall come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots." Jesse was the father of King David. We adorn a Jesse tree with illustrated ornaments that represent the people, prophesies, and events leading up to the birth of Jesus. The ornaments of the Jesse tree tell the story of God in the Old Testament, connecting the Advent season with the faithfulness of God across four thousand years of history.

You are Invited!

Blue Christmas Service

For those experiencing grief, loss or hardship, the Christmas season is far from the most wonderful time of the year. Typical holiday festivities-merry carol singing, decorating, gathering with family and purchasing gifts-emphasize joy and cheer, leaving little room for pain and grief. In response, All Saints' will offer a special service on Sunday, December 16th at 5:00 pm to accommodate those for whom the season is trying and difficult. This service, called Blue Christmas, will emphasize the pain of loss felt by many at this time of year, and offer a somber, gentle space to gather. Please join us.

Cooking Dinner for @TheTable

All are invited to cook dinner for @TheTable, which is All Saints' new ministry for college students and young adults (20s-30s). You are invited to provide a simple meal (soup, salad, bread) for this small group of seekers.  Sign up online with Sign Up Genius here  to contribute a meal  or contact .
