Sunday Message: WWJU - What Would Jesus Undo
Stand in line at any specialty coffee shop this summer and there's a good chance you'll hear the person in front of you ordering one of these refreshingly cold summer beverages:
cold brew lemonade
For the hardier coffee cravers still looking for something hot, listen and you'll hear requests for more familiar signature coffees like these:
What won't you hear? Anybody ordering any of the above, expecting the drink to touch their lips at a temperature that's lukewarm. We want hot. We want it cold. But never somewhere in the middle. That's gross.
Turns out Jesus feels the same way when it comes to us and our faith. Hot or cold He can handle, but a faith that is lukewarm provokes in our Lord a surprising, almost violent reaction. It would seem He has no appetite for an indifferent response to His offer of life, love, and grace.
This weekend we kick off our summer series:
WWJU (What Would Jesus Undo) - Spiritual Indifference
Living for Jesus!

VBS: Starts This Sunday!
VBS starts this Sunday! We are so excited for 4 days of fun! A few things about the week:
Sunday, July 15th at 5:00 we will start our first day of VBS with a family picnic. We will provide hotdogs, drinks, plates and utensils. Please bring a side dish or desert to share and lawn chairs to sit in. We will plan to eat, socialize, play and meet and greet families outside from 5-6. Then at 6:00 we will take all the children inside for a shortened night of VBS from 6-7:30 (
you are free to leave during this time frame) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we will meet like normal. Drop off at the church at 5:00 and pickup at 7:30pm.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
Thank you! -Christine Ebner and Michelle Wilson
New Message Series: WWJU
There's a good chance many have heard the acronym, WWJD. It's often found on bracelets or t-shirts; an abbreviated reminder to consider in difficult situations, asking the question, "What would Jesus do?" This month we begin a new message series that takes this popular saying and moves it in a slightly different direction, instead asking, "What Would Jesus Undo?" What are the things that break Jesus' heart, bother him, create a real sense of dissatisfaction? We hope you can join us as we launch this new series on Sunday, July 15.
