APRIL IS PHYSICAL WELLNESS MONTH SRC OFFERS WONDERFUL CLASSES

TO KEEP YOU HEALTHY. JOIN US!

Physical Wellness Month is celebrated in April every year. This time of the year, everyone is encouraged to check on themselves and observe a healthy lifestyle. From exercising and eating healthy to unwinding, there are a lot of simple activities you can do for a fit body and a sound mind. It’s also time to explore different ways to improve your daily habits. Everyone should ask themselves: “How can I be better inside and out? How can illnesses be prevented? How can stress be minimized?” If you find yourself asking these questions, April is the month to seek the answers.

FRIDAY, APRIL 11th at 11:00 AM (weather permitting)

It looks like it might rain on Friday - please watch for cancellation later this week

It looks like the weather will be nice and if we're lucky we'll be able to walk through the cherry trees along the lake which should be in bloom next Friday. It's truly a beautiful sight and a great spot to take pictures. Then when we've finished walking around the lake we can take a nice walk through the West Morris Greenway on the other side of the park.

In case you aren't able to join us next Friday, you'll have another chance to see cherry blossoms on Friday, April 18th at a new place that we have never walked before - stay tuned!

Starting on Friday, May 2nd we'll be returning to our early walks starting at 10:00 am and we'll be going on our monthly field trips again. Watch your emails!

Chester's annual Native Plant Sale is coming soon! In a time of habitat and species loss, we can all help support pollinators and birds by creating gardens and landscapes that include the plants that they evolved to rely upon for survival. Please consider placing an order and introducing some of these plants into your home garden! Watch our website for the order form in the next week.
