Lent resource suggestion:
Lent of Liberation, Confronting the Legacy of American Slavery
Recommended by members of ACC's Anti-racism Task Group, this Lenten devotional invites readers to learn more about the brutal institution of slavery and its impact on Black people in America and recognize how its evolution and legacy continue to harm their descendants in the United States today. Each of the forty devotions includes the testimony of a person who escaped slavery through the Underground Railroad, a Scripture passage, and a reflection connecting biblical and historical themes to challenge modern readers to work for liberation. Reflecting on Lenten themes of exodus, redemption, discipline, and repentance, readers, both Black and white, will be empowered for the work of racial justice.

Landis Communities Announcements
If you are a healthy, active adult between the ages of 40 and 85, living in Lancaster or Lebanon County, PA, a Continuing Care at Home membership could be right for you. Landis Communities and Friends Life Care have collaborated to offer flexible and comprehensive long-term care plans, including expert care coordination and home care services.

A Continuing Care at Home (CCaH) membership is a unique approach to aging in place that gives you the peace of mind in knowing where care will come from, how it will be arranged, and how it will be paid for if and when your health changes. It is an affordable alternative or supplement to long-term care insurance.

The next educational seminar is set for Thursday, Feb 16th at 2:00PM. For more information and to register go to https://www.friendslifecare.org/landis/ or call 844-2Landis (844-252-6347).
Please save the date for the 30th Annual Benefit Golf Outing for Landis Adult Day Services. It will be held June 4, 2021 at the Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens, Pa.
