Community Life invites you to join us for
Family Game Night
August 28th at 7:00 PM
All ages are welcome!
You can bring a game you would like to play. It may be a board game, cards, dominoes, Battleship, etc. Either people will play your game, or you’ll play theirs!
Please bring your own beverage and a snack to share.
We’ll meet the last Friday of every month. Hope to see you there!

Blessing of the Animals and Backpacks - Weather Permitting
Sunday, August 30th 10:00 AM
(8:30 Worship in the Sanctuary)
Join us at 10:00 AM for outdoor worship. Bring your animals and backpacks to be blessed. (8:30 AM worship will be indoors)
Chairs will be set up outside or bring your own chair.
Set up and tear down help is needed. Email office for more information.

Volunteer Spots are reserved for St. Luke's Lutheran at the Chanhassen Feed My Starving Children site. If you are willing to join us, please contact the office so your name can be added to our roster.
Please invite your children and friends to give them an opportunity to help others. The sooner you can make a commitment, the sooner more spaces will be added for volunteers.
**Drivers are needed. Please contact the office if you can pick up other volunteers.

There are three votes possible in the Religion category; Place of Worship, Choir/Music Program, and Vacation Bible School.

Neighborhood Block Party!
St. Luke’s Faith Practices and Neighboring Practices Learning Cohort will be hosting a neighborhood block party on Saturday, September 26th, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. We are excited to invite all neighbors and members of St Luke’s to gather for food, fellowship, and fun for all ages!
The goal of the event is getting to know our neighbors! Some ways to do that include:
1. Asking Questions: How long have you lived in the neighborhood? What’s your favorite thing about the neighborhood? What is a skill you know so well you could teach others?
2. Practice listening more than talking.
3. Find the people you know the least!

Mission Quilters Group
Quilting group will meet the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 PM during the summer in the Great Room. Use Door D.

- Continued prayers for Patrick Lair who has completed 4 of 6 chemo treatments for his Waldenstrom disease (rare white blood cell cancer) and gratitude for his improvement health. Pat offers thanks to all who have lifted him up in prayer.
