Lynnhurst Hosts Community Forum

Lynnhurst hosted another community forum Saturday morning. The Center for Neighborhoods held a public forum to explain the proposed wall murals to be painted on the north side of Samuel’s Body Shop and the south side of Save-A-Lot. 24 people representing government and local community members, artists who are interested in submitting proposals and people from the community at large. The meeting was to solicit people’s suggested places and images that represent the area, explain what was needed to participate in the project and what people envisioned in the final paintings.

It was noted this was a good turnout for this type of meeting. We were praised several times for being a good community partner. One person said “Lynnhurst is more welcoming as a community center than Beechmont (Community Center)”.
