Community Dinner

March 15 | 5-7 pm

The UM Men are hosting a Soup Dinner on Wednesday, March 15th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Gathering Place. We welcome our church family to this wonderful time of food and fellowship. We also are inviting folks from other area churches to join us for dinner before they participate in the joint Lenten Service being held at 7:00pm that evening at Cunningham. The menu will feature a variety of delicious soups prepared by men and women of our church as well as crackers and freshly baked biscuits. Drinks will include coffee, tea and water.

Dillinger Scholarship Fund Special Offering

Sunday, Mar. 19 | 9:30 am

Cunningham UMC has four special collections each year to support church- wide causes. This Sunday we will take a special collection for the Dillinger Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is available to each high school graduate who is a member of the church and plans to attend another school beyond high school. Each graduate who has completed and turned in the scholarship application receives a check for $250 made out to the institution of higher learning they will be attending. If you are interested in supporting Cunningham's youth through the Dillinger Scholarship Fund, you can 

• send a check to CUMC with Dillinger Fund in the memo line
• go to our website, click give, choose the fund 'other,' and note Dillinger.

Singles Potluck

Mar. 17 | 12:30-3pm

Singles Group meeting will be held on Friday, March 17 from 12:30-3pm in the Gathering Place. This will be a Potluck so please bring a dish to share. Wally White will join us and entertain us with his musical talents! RSVP to Betty Meyer at 434-589-2343.

2022 Audit Completed

Cunningham received a clean audit of our 2022 finances with everything found to be in good order. We'd like to thank Ed Whalen for conducting the audit and especially for his helpful suggestions for improvements to our processes.
