Faith In Action:
Formula and Diaper Drive

Each month we collect items for the MACAA Food Pantry. We especially encourage donations on the 2nd Sunday of the month, when we would normally celebrate communion together. Though we are presently unable to celebrate communion, we still support MACAA in partnership with the Fluvanna Christian Service Society.

This month the MACAA Food Pantry has issued a specific request for diapers (esp. size 6) and baby formula. Having heard their cry, we will act in faith and help meet the needs of our community.

Please encourage your friends and neighbors to join you in supporting our community by donating diapers and baby formula. Drop off items anytime (but especially this week!) on the front porch of the parsonage: 5436 Ruritan Lake Road. Please contact Pastor Amy if you need the items to be picked up from your house. If you prefer to make a financial contribution, you can donate to MACAA at EW Thomas Grocery Store between 10am and noon--ask for Beth Thomas.

Thank you for supporting MACAA (Monticello Area Community Action Agency), which leads the efforts to eradicate poverty and improve the lives of low-income people in Central Virginia.
MONDAY BIBLE STUDY

This week we'll begin a new bible study "You'll Get Through This" with Max Lucado.

As we spend time together over the next few weeks, we can encourage one another. These challenges are great, but God is greater. Let us take courage that God will restore even the most painful circumstances and use them for good . ~ Max Lucado
