Will of God Bible Study

All are invited to join this 6-week online study. We will be exploring God's will in our world and for our lives based on the classic book by Leslie D. Weatherhead titled The Will of God. The study will be led by Liz Smith with assistance from Pastor Tom Frost.

2022 Charge Conference

October 9, 2022

CUMC's annual Charge Conference is scheduled for October 9, 2022 from 4 - 6 pm at Palmyra UMC. This year's charge conference will be a cluster conference, in which several local Methodist churches will hold their charge conferences at the same time. All are invited to attend. Please contact Pastor Amy if you have any questions.

FLUVANNA MEALS ON WHEELS BIRTHDAY BAGS

FMOW will be preparing birthday bags for their clients that have birthdays the next couple of months. They are asking for the following items:

Birthday bags...size medium 10X5.75X13inches
Toothpaste...no tooth brushes
Men’s shampoo
Men’s shaving cream
Ladies hand lotion
Socks for both men and women...regular socks, not sport ankle socks
Knit hats and /or gloves for both men and women

Please bring supplies to the FMOW office or put them in the FMOW basket in the narthex by September 15, 2022. Thanks so much!

Feeding Fluvanna

Cunningham UMC is partnering with other churches in the area for Feeding Fluvanna in

October. We will be collecting food donations each Sunday – think Vegetable Sunday, Fruit Sunday, Meat Sunday, etc. Along with other church folks, we will also collect food and monetary donations at ACE Hardware and EW Thomas Market on Saturday, October 8, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. We need volunteers for 1 or 2 hours that day.
