YARD SALE

SATURDAY, SEPT. 10

Time to find all of those things you never use that are taking up space in your cupboards, basements, garages and sheds, and donate them to the Church Yard Sale. We will be accepting donations of clean usable items Monday September 5 thru Thursday September 8 from 5 to 7 pm at the Gathering Place. Please, no clothes or CRT TVs. Proceeds from the sale will be split between the youth camp fund and the mortgage reduction fund. Called District Conference

Tuesday , Aug. 9 @ 7 pm

At Annual Conference in June, lay and clergy members voted to reduce the number of districts in our Conference from 16 to 8. In order to close out the Charlottesville and Richmond Districts and officially open the Three Notch'd District, we will vote on the resolution to incorporate the Three Notch'd District. Incorporation allows us to own property and conduct other business-related transactions.

Food Bank Needs

On the second Sunday of each month, as we gather around Christ’s table, we remember those who in need of food on their own tables. We encourage everyone to bring in food donations for the Fluvanna Food Pantry anytime, but especially on the second Sunday of each month. This month they are asking for donations for the Children’s’ Snack Packs: 

• Ramen Noodles
• Sandwich Crackers (cheese or peanut butter)
• Cookies (individual wrapped)
• Pop – Tarts
• Small boxes of Juices
• Single packs of cereal
• Pudding cups
• Jell-O Cups
• Single boxes of raisins
• Potato Chips
• Box Milk (8oz size)
