Fluvanna Meals On Wheels

Christmas Wish List

CUMC is helping to brighten the holidays for Fluvanna Meals On Wheels clients. We're collecting festive coffee mugs, sugar-free hot cocoa & peppermint tea to add to their clients' Christmas gift bags. A box will be placed in the Narthex through October 20th for your donations. Contact Mary Kalchbrenner with questions.

Cunningham to Host JABA Senior Center for Trial Period

Cunningham Cares for seniors! Starting Monday, October 7, Cunningham UMC will host a JABA Senior Center on the first and third Monday of the month from October-December 2024. The center will be open those days from 10am - 1pm.

We are looking for people to help us evaluate the senior center during the trial period. If you are 60 or older and willing to attend one of the days Cunningham hosts during the trial period, please contact Pastor Amy.

Annual Charge Conference

Cunningham’s annual charge conference is scheduled as a cluster conference on October 27 at 3pm. It will be held at Scottsville UMC. All are invited to attend. Please contact Pastor Amy if you have any questions.  

Trunk or Treat

Cunningham will be part of Fluvanna County's Trunk or Treat at Pleasant Grove Park on Saturday, October 26 from 6:30-8:30 pm. This allows us to serve more children from all over the county than we could if we did it on our own. We need volunteers to decorate our car and to help distribute candy to the kids.

We also need ALOT of candy, as previous years have attracted over 2,000 participants!

Holiday Bazaar

The Holiday Bazaar will be Saturday, November 9 from 8am – 2 pm. It’s a great opportunity to support missions through the women of the church. You’ll find Christmas gifts and other special items. Contact Marie Hussey for additional information.
