2023 Stewardship Campaign

Thanks to those members of our Cunningham family who have already submitted their 2023 General Operating Fund budget commitment cards which were dedicated during our Service yesterday. If you have not yet had a chance to return your commitment card to the Church, there is still an opportunity to do so, as we will continue to dedicate those cards as we receive them. If you need a commitment card or have a question please contact Walter Hussey, Finance Chair (703.967.1798), or the Church office.

Hanging of the Greens

Saturday, November 26

10:00am-12:00pm

Help prepare for Hanging of the Greens on Saturday November 26 from 10:00am-12:00pm in preparation for Advent. We will be decorating the outside with lights, hanging wreaths, etc. We will also be fluffing the wreaths for the inside, putting the bows on, and getting Chrismons ready. Advent Study Begins

You’re invited to participate in this year’s Advent Study “The Art of Advent: A Painting a Day from Advent to Epiphany” by Jane Williams. Each day provides a work of art and a reflection to lead you in a deeply prayerful response . This online study is open to all and will take place Mondays at 7pm on Zoom from Nov. 29-Jan. 2.  Contact Pastor Amy for more information or to let her know that you are interested.

Rev. Dr. Lee, District Superintendent

District Superintendent Rev. Dr. Lee will speak at Cunningham UMC on Tuesday, November 29 at 7pm in the Gathering Place. He will address your questions regarding the future of The United Methodist Church and disaffiliation options. All are welcome to attend. If you would like a ride to the meeting, please contact Pastor Amy and she will arrange one for you.
