August is here! We are finally seeing a small break in the heat out here in California. It seems much of the country is starting to cool down as well. Here are a few things going on in Beta world. Please pass along this email to your different department managers so they are in the loop.
Online Motorcycle Ordering: (Updated)
After speaking to a few dealers, we have decided to not charge the sales tax or set up fee due to the different laws in each state. Beta USA will simply take a deposit for the motorcycle (at MSRP) and the shipping. Like the parts sales, the customer chooses their dealer of preference. The customer will be responsible to pay for the extra dealer fees and sales tax at your dealership.
When the orders come in, we will notify your dealership to see if you have the model the customer ordered in stock, if not, we will invoice you and ship the model to you. The full deposit will go as a credit against your account.
The three positives about this program are, like our online parts sales, your dealership does very little work and little time investment. The second positive is that we feel it will boost sales as many riders love to buy products online if it is convenient. The last great thing about the program is there is no haggling over price as the price will be at the full retail.
We plan on launching this exciting new program next week.
2027 Models are Shipping out to Dealers:
We started shipping 2027 models out to all dealers who placed orders this week. There was a very large amount that were shipped out! We have a very limited amount in stock so have a look on your BDS portal to see what models are available as of today. More containers will be arriving weekly so models will ship out to dealers that have orders the same day as they arrive.
350 RC 2-Stroke:
We have had a few dealers ask for a 350 RC model. This model would be based on the 350 RX and have a 6-speed transmission, 18" rear wheel, slid plate and handguards. If you are interested in us building this model, please reply to this email and put in the amount that you think your dealership would sell per year. No promises, if the demand is there, it is possible.
2026 FALL Sale:
Our 2026 Fall Sales will kick off on Tuesday, September 1st so watch for the release. All motorcycles will be priced well so that your dealership can earn extra profit! Quantities are limited on some models and they will be sold at a first-come-first-serve basis.
Divisional Trial Event:
Beta USA is proud to announce the first ever divisional trial event, held at Donner Ski Ranch near Truckee, California on Sunday, October 18th! This event will be testing a new scoring system for the sport of trial. This is a premium event with a cash payout to all division winners (all levels of riders are welcome to sign up). Watch for more information and registration information very soon on the Beta USA website!
