Pet of The Week-King!

King is a two year old lab/collie mix with lots of love to give! He found his way to us after being transferred from another shelter.

King is very energetic and would do best with an active family. He know some basic commands and seems to be house trained, but his leash skills could use a little work. He has been working hard on them though with our wonderful volunteers. King loves people, so much so, that he tends to forget his manners and jumps up with excitement, so a home with small children may not be ideal for him. We know this behavior could be easily corrected with some proper training and King is very eager to please!

King seems to get along with cats, but can be a bit picky with other dogs. He would do best with a dog that could match his playful energy but still be rather submissive.

Are you willing to invite King into your heart and home? He's more than prepared to be your devoted sidekick, promising a lifetime of adventures and cuddles. Come meet King, and let him show you just how much happiness a forever friend can bring!

BOI Reporting FAQ with Richard Anderson of Quick Bookkeeper:

Under the Corporate Transparency Act that went into effect January 1, 2024, small businesses must file Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reports with the Department of Treasury by December 31, 2024. A few notes from Quick Bookkeeper about reporting requirements:

Where is the Information Reported?

To comply with the reporting requirements, you'll need to submit your information through the FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network) BOI E-filing System.

Who needs to report?

A "Reporting Company" is any business registered with a state's Secretary of State.

What Information Needs to Be Reported, and Who Needs ro Report?

FinCEN requires details on three categories: Reporting Company, Company Applicant, and Beneficial Owners.

A "Reporting Company" is any business registered with a state's Secretary of State. A "Company Applicant" is the individual or agency responsible for completing the report - this could be yourself as the business, or someone like Quick Bookkeeper if hired to do so. A "Beneficial Owner" is an individual owning more than 25% of the business, or an individual with significant control over the business, even with less than 25% ownership.

Reporting Deadline for the initial report since the Corporate Transparency Act went into effect is December 31, 2024. Late filing penalties apply. The BOI report is typically a one-time submission unless updates are required, such as a new owner with over 25% ownership added.

Initial Report: The BOI report must be filed by December 31, 2024.

For any BOI filing related questions or for your tax filing needs, reach out to Richard Anderson of Quick Bookkeeper, Inc.
