Pet of The Week-Beegee!
This sweet old fella is Beegee.
Beegee came to us as a stray, with a few health problems. We were able to get him neutered and on the path to getting better.
Beegee is all Beagle, and definitely leads with his nose and he is likely deaf, so a fenced in yard would be best for him. He seems to get along with other dogs, and would likely do well with cats and children. We believe that he is house trained. Beegee’s just looking for a loving home to spend his golden years in.
Stop by an meet this sweet boy and you’d be sure to fall in love… how could you say no to that cute face?

BOI Reporting FAQ with Richard Anderson of QuickBookkeeper:
Where is the Information Reported?
To comply with the reporting requirements, you'll need to submit your information through the FinCEN BOI E-filing System. Instructions can be found here: FinCEN BOI E-filing System.
What Information Needs to Be Reported?
FinCEN requires details on three categories:
Reporting Company (your business)
Company Applicant
Beneficial Owners
Who is a Reporting Company?
A "Reporting Company" is any business registered with a state's Secretary of State. If you're receiving this email, it’s because you own one or more businesses that must report. The information you’ll need to provide includes:
Legal name of the business
Employer Identification Number (EIN)
State of formation (e.g., Michigan)
Business address
Who is a Company Applicant?
A "Company Applicant" is the individual or agency responsible for completing the report. If you handle this yourself, then you're the Company Applicant. If you hire someone like me, I would be the Company Applicant. The information required includes:
Legal name
Date of birth
Address
A unique identifying number (e.g., driver's license or passport)
An image of the identifying document
Who is a Beneficial Owner?
A Beneficial Owner is:
An individual owning more than 25% of the business, or
An individual with significant control over the business, even with less than 25% ownership.
If a business owns another business subject to BOI reporting, the owner of the parent company must also be reported. For further details, refer to page 18 of the attached BOI FAQ PDF.
The required information for each beneficial owner includes:
Legal name
Date of birth
Address
Unique identifying number (e.g., driver's license or passport)
An image of the identifying document
Note: If multiple beneficial owners meet these criteria, you must report each one.
Reporting Deadlines
Initial Report: The BOI report must be filed by December 31, 2024.
Late Filing Penalty: Missing the deadline incurs a penalty of $591 per day. For example, filing on January 11, 2025, would result in a 10-day delay and a penalty of $5,910.
How Often Do You Need to File?
A BOI report is typically a one-time submission, unless updates are required. For instance, if a new owner with over 25% ownership is added, you must update the BOI report within 30 days. Missing this window could result in penalties.
Filing Fees
The U.S. Department of Treasury does not charge a fee for e-filing a BOI report.
What if You Form a New Business?
If you establish a new business, you must file a BOI report within 30 days. Failure to meet this deadline may result in late filing penalties.
For any BOI filing related questions or for your tax filing needs, reach out to Richard Anderson: randerson@quickbookkeeperinc.com or 231-437-3200
