The Leadership Charlevoix County Board of Directors has announced that they will not be holding their annual 9 month professional leadership program for the upcoming year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After much discussion and consideration for the safety and well being of our participants, session leaders and Co-Administrators, it was unanimously decided to pause programming for the upcoming year and resume recruitment in the spring of 2021. The LCC Board will continue to meet, work on the organization’s strategic plan, review curriculum and projects, look at fundraising opportunities for the future and continue to engage the Leadership Charlevoix County Alumni. The organization will be thrilled to welcome back a new class in 2021, our tenth year for this highly successful curriculum that now boasts 142 alumni.

The Offield Family Viewlands Working Forest Reserve
Formerly known as the Little Traverse Bay Golf Club, these 290 acres are located a few miles southeast of Nub’s Nob. The land is best known for the breathtaking views of Little Traverse Bay and the Inland Waterway. You will love exploring this new reserve soon (by the end of June!), but we still need your help paying off the loan and restoring the property to a natural condition.

The Offield Family Viewlands were officially purchased by Little Traverse Conservancy on April 22 (Earth Day) with a loan. Over $1.6 million has been raised towards the $2 million goal. For those who are able to give at this time, we greatly appreciate your support.
All donations are tax-deductible. For questions, please contact Associate Director Ty Ratliff at  tyratliff@landtrust.org or 231.347.0991. For more information click HERE .
