Smart Thermostat Giveaway
Even during the COVID-19 pandemic Consumers Energy remains committed to achieving our clean energy goals! One pillar of our Clean Energy Plan is to help our customers use energy more efficiently. To keep those goals on track, we are working with Google to give away 100,000 Nest Thermostat Es to Consumers Energy residential customers from now through the end of July.

We know that people who use the Nest E reduce their energy usage by up to 15 percent on average. Which is why we’re eager to get the word out about this exciting new program. Use Google Chrome to access the attached link for more details about how to take advantage of this limited time offer or visit: ConsumersEnergy.com/freethermostat . This is only for residential customers of Consumers Energy and the customer must have air conditioning and WiFi to be eligible. Have your Consumers Energy Account Number ready. Once eligibility is verified, a cost of $0.00 will appear in the shopping cart. The customer will be responsible for shipping costs. A complimentary Customer Care Kit will be provided to those customers who are not eligible.

Raven Hill Updates
You may or may not know that Raven Hill Discovery Center has made the difficult decision to “hibernate” for 12 months due to the COVID-19 crisis. Hopefully, the Center can safely open a year from now with a plan for whatever the future brings. Opening for this 2020 spring and summer season would be difficult in this time of social distancing. Fall and winter are slow times, so opening in the spring of 2021 in time for spring field trips, discovery camps and summer visitors, seems to be the best option for the Center at this point in time, if that is feasible. Work will go on behind the scenes and your continued support is appreciated. Check us out daily on Facebook and the website ( www.MiRavenHill.org ) for informal learning activities, photo memories, history pages, updates and more. We may also be reached via email ( [email protected] ) or phone: 231.675.6025.

Click HERE to see Raven Hill’s update for this past week. We are certainly keeping busy and staying safe.

American House Recipes
During this difficult time we understand how challenging it can be to prepare meals for our loved ones. We hope you enjoy these recipes. If you prepare any of the recipes we send we would love to hear what you and your family thought of the recipe and any changes you may have made to the recipe. We would like to prepare this dish for our residents with your changes. Click HERE for the classic chicken and dumplings recipe.
