Notta Regatta
April 6

Since April is the first real month of Spring and it starts with April Fool's Day, it is the perfect time to "LAUNCH" the Notta Regatta - a non-event to help raise funds for ‘Paddle UP!’ Leadership Charlevoix Class of 2019 would like your help in raising money for their community project- Paddle UP! Our goal is to help provide a Universal Access (UA) Paddler Launch Station on Lake Charlevoix. Working in conjunction with Disability Network Northern Michigan (DNNM) and the City of Charlevoix Recreation Department, the launch will be located at Ferry Beach. Universal Access (UA) is especially important for families and groups having individuals with physical limitations, too many times they can be excluded from water access due to a lack of UA equipment. Instead of taking time for a night out at a venue listening to speeches and spending money on a tux, dress, babysitter, and silent auction - consider putting those funds to better use allowing everyone to enjoy ‘Charlevoix the Beautiful’ more fully.
