Upcoming Highlights

• $2 for Mission - Sunday, July 26 - With so much happening in June, we missed our scheduled $2 for Mission collection Sunday. Our makeup day is Sunday, July 26. If you are giving quarterly at the suggested rate of $2 per week, then the second quarter amount is $26. The Mission Team appreciates any amount you can give. A basket will be placed on the altar rail. Please bring your contribution up during the singing of the first hymn. To ease the burden on our tellers, we ask that all coins be converted to paper or a check. You may also give online through the giving portal by selecting Missions in the dropdown box. Thank you for your support of the BAUMC missions! 

• Summer Jazz Concert: Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 6, at 7:00pm for the annual summer concert featuring the Chesterfield Jazz Band under the leadership of Les Owen. This concert will be held in the sanctuary and will feature great jazz and swing style music along with vocalist, Daniella Kyriakides. Bring the family and invite your friends to this free concert. It is open to the public. A Love offering will be collected in appreciation of the band and to support Abukloi School, our mission in South Sudan.  

Disciple Bible Study Information:

Are you curious about how Disciple Bible Study can help your faith grow?

Have you heard others talk about what an amazing study this is but not sure it’s for you?

Would you be interested in learning more before you commit to participate?

Three opportunities are upcoming to ask questions and learn more about Disciple I Bible Study. Rev. Lynda Moore and Rev. Mark Rooks look forward to sharing more about this study which will begin mid-September. 

Choose the time and date which works for you:

• Sunday, July 26th 10:00 am in the Commons (grab a coffee and come chat with us)
• Sunday, July 26th immediately following 11:00 worship in room 1101
• Sunday, August 2nd immediately following 11:00 worship in room 1101

Service Opportunities:

• Sound System: We’re looking for volunteers to help with the sound system and livestream during Sunday worship and other services. No prior experience is necessary — training will be provided. For more information, please contact Kathy Blaska at kblaska@bonairumc.org.

• Front Office Support: We are looking for front office volunteers to help support the church during weekday office hours. Volunteer shifts are available Monday through Thursday from 10am–noon and noon–2:00pm. Duties include answering the doorbell remotely, assisting visitors, and helping with general questions. Sunday Worship Services:

• Join us for inspiring worship services every Sunday, fostering spiritual growth and community engagement with Sermons from Pastor Lee. In the Sanctuary at 9am & 11am.

Sunday School for All Ages

• Engage in educational classes and special programs designed to deepen understanding of faith and encourage spiritual growth on Sunday's at 10am.

Children's Sunday School

• Join us on July 12 as we begin a study on the Fruits of the Spirit. Children age 4 through 12th grade meet in room 2205 from 10:00-10:50. All are welcome!
