Gala Time Capsule Request

The League of Chicago Theatres annual gala returns this fall. On September 19th from 5:00-9:00 pm at The AmazingSpace: 625 W. Adams, Chicago IL 60601, we will celebrate the rich legacy of Chicago theatre. This year's gala is a celebration of the Chicago theatre community’s resilience! Together, we will raise awareness and financial support for the League's programs which uplift Chicagoland's more than 200-member theatre companies.

For this year’s gala we would like to honor the work of colleagues on our production teams through a special Chicago Theatre Time Capsule display during the annual gala celebration. We are currently seeking costumes, props, puppets, sketches, designs, and general memorabilia from significant productions on your stages that we can bring into our time capsule of Chicago Theatre for the night.

These time capsule pieces will be displayed throughout the evening in a special room with credit to the designer and company and returned by Friday, September 22, 2023. Please respond to this email to contribute to this special event.

Announcing the League of Chicago Theatres’ New Spotlight Ticketing Initiative

The League of Chicago Theatres is proud to announce the Spotlight Ticketing Initiative. These donated tickets will be available to members of the Chicagoland theatre community.

Members of the Chicagoland theatre community can sign up online to be added to the waitlist. Tickets are 100% FREE. Participants will be notified by September 15. For additional information, please contact [email protected]
