Preparation for the Celebration

Psalm 51:1-9

In January 2023, I was given a conference evangelist appointment at Smith Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Winder, Georgia. I was so excited to know that my interim position would be to support Reverend William Coplin, Jr. and his congregation during his absence of receiving a new kidney and his healing process. I really embraced the experience and my healing process as well.

My experience at Smith Memorial A.M.E. Zion church was beautiful and full of amazing transformations for me. One of the highlights I would like to share is the first day of Lent, February 22, 2023, Ash Wednesday.

The Holy Spirit led me to present a sermon topic about cleansing and preparing for the Celebration from the book of Psalms 51: 1-9. Something happens to me that evening something only the holy spirit can do, we all left differently than when we came to the sanctuary. It was a beautiful and spiritual renewal experience.
