Dress Code Clarification
Thanks to the parents who participated in our dress code survey in October and to those who have called to express viewpoints regarding the hairstyle of our young people. In September, our Honor Council (student leadership) advanced a proposal of a yearlong pilot rule to allow young men to grow their hair out, essentially giving the young men the same standards (clean, well-groomed, out of the eyes) as we apply to the young women. The proposal was approved by the faculty and by the majority of parents who completed the survey. As a result, we have approved the pilot initiative. If you notice young men with atypically scruffy hair, it is not because rules are being ignored. We are evaluating whether the rule adjustment makes sense over the long term.

As always, we appreciate your feedback. We will include questions about your experience with the new hairstyles at the end of the year. Thanks in advance!

SCRIP News
Get a jump start on your Holiday shopping! I’m sure you have all heard the news that this year’s Christmas shopping, both online and in stores, is going to be challenging due to supply shipments being delayed and labor shortages. Please plan ahead and get your orders in early. Even though we do stock several retailers, gas stations, local and national restaurants, there still are several that we do not stock and have to special order, which could take 2-3 days to get in. Also, during high demand season, we see large orders for commonly stocked cards. Reminder that you can also order e-gift cards and reloads via the RaiseRight App.

Scrip office will be closed during the following days:
November 25th and 26th
December 23rd – December 31st
