Father Dave's new book of sermons, By Grace You Have Been Saved, is complete. There will be a book signing at Book & Table (120 N. Patterson St.) at 5:30 on Friday, December 2-and beginning Sunday, December 4 it will be on sale at Christ Church for $10 each, with 100% of the proceeds going toward the 2017 Dominican Republic and Youth Mission trips.

| On Saturday, December 17, the Lunch Bunch group would like to give each child who comes to the delivery spots at Ora Lee West and Hudson Dockett housing projects a small gift for Christmas. We are looking for 120 small wrapped gifts under $10, the gift can be for a boy or a girl under the age of 14. We will have a collection box in the narthex, or you can drop them by the church office. Please have them to the church no later than Thursday, December 15, 2016. Thank you for your help. |

EYC: We've officially split EYC into Middle School and High School groups.
The middle school students meet Wednesday nights from 7-8:15 pm in the Gabard building.
The high school students will meet this Sunday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Gabard building.
Our last EYC event of the year will be a combined Christmas party on Sunday, 12/18 from 7-9:00 pm.

ECM: The college ministry is having an Ugly Sweater and White Elephant Christmas party next Thursday, 12/8, from 7:00-10:00 pm.
We need a few volunteers to cook tasty sides and deserts (We will provide the main meal). There will be a sign-up sheet in the parish hall this Sunday or you may email
Philip. Thank you for loving the college students so well.

All CEC Children (PreK 3s-5th graders) are invited to attend our
Pancakes and Pajamas Christmas Party. Please join us on
December 17th from 9:30 - 12:30 in the Parish Hall.
We will begin by eating some yummy pancakes in our favorite pajamas! Next, we will practice for our Christmas Pageant that will be during the 10am service on the 18th. We will finish up with a fun craft!

Donations for the 2016 tax year must be dropped off to the church no later than noon on 12/30/2016 or mailed to the church no later than 12/28/2016. Any donations made after December 30, 2016 will be posted on 2017 giving sheet.

December 6 deadline to sign up
|
The deadline to join our 2017 Dominican Republic mission team is Tuesday, December 6, 2016, when team members need to send in the $200 non-refundable deposit and a copy of the photo pages in their passport.
We have made arrangements for a group flight ticket from Valdosta to Atlanta to Santo Domingo and have made a down payment. Missioners may elect to start and end their flight in Atlanta if that is more convenient.
We have 12 confirmed members of the team now and can take as many as eighteen.
We plan to renovate and add on to a house for our longtime friend and interpreter Leidy Rosario and her husband and son. In addition, we will teach Vacation Bible School and host the splash party for the children as well as small projects around the school if we raise enough funds.

Can you help the Haven? The women are in need of Linens, (bath or kitchen towels, sheets, spreads etc.) toiletries, and personal items (toothpaste, soaps, lotions, brushes & combs, etc.), both regular and travel size.
There is a basket for the Haven collection in the Parish Hall.
