PRAYERS FOR UKRAINE – Our Church will be open every day from 9:00am to 11:00 am for the parishioners who would like to pray for restoration of peace in Ukraine and suffering people in Ukraine. EMERGENCY HUMANITARIAN AID TO THE PEOPLE IN UKRAINE – The war is on. Can you help your brothers and sisters in need? Parishes are invited to take up an emergency humanitarian collection to aid the people in Ukraine. The donated funds are to be sent to the Pastoral Centre, who in turn will forward them to our partner Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA Ottawa), who are coordinating humanitarian relief efforts with Caritas Ukraine. You can mail a cheque to the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton, 9645-108 Ave, Edmonton, AB T5H 1A3. Make cheques payable to “Eparchy of Edmonton”. Or you can donate online on www.eeparchy.com website. Tax receipts will be issued for every donation.
WORLDWIDE DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING – Pope Francis has called for a Worldwide Day of Prayer and Fasting for peace in Ukraine on Wednesday, March 02, 2022. As we begin our Lenten Journey, let us all join in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and beyond in prayer and fasting for peace.
