Wednesday Evening Lenten Dinner Series "No Greater Love: Reflections on the Cross" began March 8 and will run through April 5, 2017 from 6:40 - 7:45 p.m.
Childcare will be provided in Gabard each Wednesday night from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Each Wednesday we will provide a
 yummy dinner for the kids. After dinner we will do a fun Bible Science activity!
Kids will learn that with Jesus we will always have all that we need! Please join us for this fun and exciting Bible Science series!

20's & 30's Group are invited for food, fun and fellowship at the Rectory on Saturday, March 25th beginning at 6:00 p.m. The main course and drinks will be provided; each participant is asked to bring a side dish, salad or dessert.
The Gabard Building will be open and staffed for nursery and/or childcare. Dinner will be provided for them as well.

The Children's Choir
(PreK 3s - 5th Grade) will be performing during the 10:00 service on Easter Sunday, April 16th. Karen May will begin practice each Sunday through April 9th during the first 15 minutes of Sunday School.

Please bring individually wrapped candy (no chocolate please) and plastic eggs to the church office between now and Wednesday, April 12th. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 11:00 Easter Morning! Many thanks in advance for your generosity!

EYC: This Saturday, 3/18, at 2pm we will have a combined EYC event at the Yarbrough's barn. We are going to clean up the church's canoes for our upcoming canoe trip on 4/1. If you plan on attending, please contact Philip for directions or if your student needs a ride contact Philip. Next Sunday, 3/26, we will have high school EYC at Paul and Molly Stevenson's house.
Our high school mission trip is booked to serve at Hearts of Palm mission in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. There will be more details sent out to parents this week.

ECF (Episcopal College Fellowship) -
Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered to help cook for our college students! Family dinners are on Thursdays at 7:30 pm. We also have two small groups during the week one on Tuesdays at 2:00 PM and one on Fridays at 9:30 AM. Both small groups meet in the Student Union.
On April 8th, we will have a retreat away at the Yarbourgh's barn. There will be more details out to the college students this week.

We need fruit cups for Lunch Bunch. Please consider picking up a six pack of fruit cups when you do your family grocery shopping. The children love the fruit and the Lunch Bunch volunteers appreciate it.

DR House - Wall Foundations!
|
Remember the cardboard "tiny house" model in the parish hall? The one where donations for building materials were represented with brightly colored "concrete blocks" pasted on the walls, week by week? Check out what's happening with those donations!
During this past week, work began on digging the foundation trenches for the walls of the house we are building with those donations in the village of El Pedregal, the work site of our Dominican Republic mission team. We have sent funds to the local Episcopal priest in El Pedregal to get the construction started, with the plan that our team members will help with the final details when we arrive on June 12. Many new photographs of the progress came in last week, and you can see those new images as well as the older ones from February and early March in this online album. |
