Before we begin this week’s bulletin, I would like to congratulate our UConn Women’s Basketball team, led by Coach Geno Auriemma, on their win last night over USC. They are advancing to their second straight and 24th total Final Four as they play UCLA in Tampa on Friday night. Make sure you tune into ESPN at 9:30 p.m. as we cheer on those Huskies!


This Saturday, head on over to ShopRite in Cromwell from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for our Real Estate Council Food Drive. Donated items will support the Amazing Grace Food Pantry and St. Vincent de Paul. Help fight hunger in our local community and ensure those in need have access to nutritious meals. Next Wednesday, Employers and Job Seekers are invited to join us on Wednesday, April 9 at the Courtyard by Marriott Cromwell from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for our bi-annual Job Fair. Employers: If you're searching for local, qualified job candidates, then this is the job fair for you! Job Seekers: Meet with nearly 30 employers from diverse sectors, including professional, technical, healthcare, manufacturing, and administrative fields. The fair will feature opportunities ranging from entry-level positions to highly specialized roles. Additionally, career development specialists will be available to offer resume critiques, ensuring attendees are well-prepared for their job search. The chamber’s Business and Education Partnership is still looking for presenters for the annual High School Career Fair Expo- A Career Exploration Event, scheduled for Thursday, April 24 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Whether you work in business, healthcare, skilled trades, manufacturing, the arts, STEM, government, or another sector, you are invited to present/ exhibit and share your valuable career experiences and perspectives with Middlesex County High School Students. *Please note, this is a career exploration event, not a hiring fair. At this special meeting, Speaker Ritter will visit with chamber members to discuss the 2025 Regular Session of the Connecticut General Assembly. Real Estate Council Comedy Night & Auction

Join us on Saturday, May 3 for our Real Estate Council's Annual Comedy Night & Auction to benefit the Middlesex Chamber Recovery Employment Program! This event, sponsored by ServPro of Middletown/ New Britain, will take place from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m. at the Middletown Elks Crystal Ballroom, and will feature comedian Billy Winn and guests as well as incredible silent and live auction items!


All proceeds benefit the Middlesex Chamber Recovery Employment Program (REP) – a life-changing initiative helping individuals in recovery rebuild their lives through job coaching, placement, and life skills training. To learn more about this incredible program, please click here.
