February is wrapping up and the month of March is fast approaching!


If you haven’t already, please make sure you register for the 2024 Legislative Breakfast, scheduled for next Monday, March 4 at the Courtyard by Marriott, Cromwell. All legislators that represent towns in the Chamber's service area have been invited to attend. Chamber members will have the opportunity to ask questions of the legislators about the important 2024 legislative session and other issues facing the business community in Middlesex County. Coach Geno Auriemma will be making his annual return to our Member Breakfast Meeting on Monday, March 18 at the Sheraton Hartford South Hotel in Rocky Hill! The coach will speak about the UConn Women’s Basketball team including an outlook on this years roster, the upcoming season and much more. Register early as this event is sure to sell out!!! Later in the month, we are looking forward to kicking off the annual Legislative Leadership Series with Speaker of the House Matt Ritter. This virtual event has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 27 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Speaker Ritter will visit with chamber members via Zoom to discuss the 2024 Regular Session of the Connecticut General Assembly. The chamber's Board of Directors and Legislative Committee will have the opportunity to ask questions about the session, and discuss some important issues on our 2024 Public Policy Agenda. Professional Training & Development Program

The Middlesex Chamber’s Professional Training & Development Program is once again accepting participants for its 2024 classes. The objective of the program is to train participants with new skills that are marketable in today’s demanding labor market. Since it's inception, the initiative has trained over 2,000 people in courses focusing on technology, soft skills, and personal growth. 


Courses offered for the 2024 session include:
