| | The new year often brings pressure to improve, resolve, and perfect ourselves to reach our self-prescribed goals and definitions of success. What if success has less to do with fixing ourselves and more to do with loving who we already are? Join us for a New Thought exploration of authenticity, self-compassion, and trusting the Divine to direct our path forward in the year ahead. It's the perfect time to release false idealism and reconnect with our true colors—our authentic selves—as sacred expressions of God, guided by love rather than self-criticism. | | |

The Rummage Sale is Now the Moving Sale
Our Rummage Sale is now officially our moving sale and the date has shifted. Plan on joining us on Saturday, January 31 February 7th. More details (like the times!) coming soon.
Meanwhile, save the date! We have lots to clear out since our new space is much smaller than our current location. Thank heavens Crystal was already busily organizing the generous donation of goods from our community members. So, save the date on Saturday, February 7th and join us for our moving sale. Be sure to tell your friends. What doesn't sell will be sold on Facebook Marketplace, sold to Savers, or recycled.

January 9, 2026 - Watermelon Mountain Jug Band
Called "one of New Mexico's treasured natural resources," the Watermelon Mountain Jug Band will be celebrating its 51st year of entertaining audiences in 2026, playing Americana music to satisfy a variety of musical tastes. True to the original 1920s jug bands of the South, their music comes alive with washboard, jug, kazoo, washtub bass, guitar, and banjo. The band delights audiences with country, bluegrass, Spanish, jug band, ragtime, and original music with even some classic rock 'n' roll.
The unique instrumentation and musical skills of Pat Houlihan (singer, songwriter, guitarist, juggist), Ben Perea (five-time NM banjo champion, guitar, classical guitarist), Gary Oleson (washtub bass extraordinaire) and Barbara Piper (washboard, percussion, background vocal) are not to be missed!

January 16, 2026 - La Chat Lunatique
As unpredictable, fearless, and entertaining as their namesake, Le Chat Lunatique purveys an addictive genre they call “filthy, mangy jazz,” a signature sound that makes you want to smoke and drink too much—if only you could get off the dance floor. Le jazz hot of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli is their north star, but they use that beacon to navigate through a wide range of genres, blending Western swing, classical, reggae, doowop, and “anything else we damn well please” into strikingly original compositions and audaciously reworked standards alike.
Le Chat Lunatique who have not changed their line-up since their formation 6 years ago, is Muni Kulasinghe’s theatrical vocals, his violin skittering across the music like beads of water on a hot skillet—inspired as much by a legless Polish gypsy he encountered on his vagabond travels as by the great Grappelli. It’s the axe of guitarist John Sandlin, the classicist who fell under the sway of Reinhardt, felling bar after bar of music with ferocious dexterity. It’s the slap-happy bass and slyly sweet vocals of Jared Putnam, the sinisterly innocent one whose dark past embraces both death metal and Western swing. It’s the irresistibly deep-pocketed grooves of drummer Fernando Garavito, the mysterious and gracious Colombian who appeared by magic in New Mexico.
