That is a frustrating question, especially in a society that indoctrinates us to go-go-go and do-do-do. When life gets hard and beyond ourselves, that is precisely the time to lean into Spirit and be-be-be. We practice the Presence. This is how we change our experience and our outcomes, allowing Spirit to make a way where there seems to be no way. We level up our practical mysticism each time we step into the mystery and make the space for grace. Join Rev Kamatara this Sunday to explore what "practicing the Presence" looks like in real life, from spiritual concept to actual embodiment. | | |
Rev. Kamatara is RGCSL's Director of Collaborative Ministries. She is also Executive Director for Circles USA, a nonprofit that’s dedicated to ending poverty in the United States. In addition, Rev. Carol Ann Armijo is the May RGCSL
Volunteer of the Month
Who better to have as our volunteer of the month than the person who has been coordinating (herding cats!) for us for a while.
Unfortunately for us, Carol Ann needs to step back, at least for now, but we didn't want her to do that without taking the time to express how deeply appreciative we are for all the hard work she has put in. Carol Ann has been a force to be reckoned with for as long as she has been a part of our community (over 9 years!). She's also an awesome artist. Be sure to check out her pieces in the Art Show/Open House.
Thank you, Carol Ann, for your dedication, kindness and tireless effort. Give yourself 10% off in the bookstore while you still have such power!

10% off for all May birthdays and first timers.
The new Science of Mind magazines are in! Make sure to stop in and pick up a copy.
Notice the bookshelves of free used books. Find something that moves and leave behind a love donation for a soon-to-be neighborhood library and mini-pantry. Help us as we extend the power of love in action into our new neighborhood.

It's a new, exciting time for Rio Grande Center for Spiritual Living, as we shift our focus to our abundance, We stand in the knowingness that every expenditure is an expression of appreciation. As we give, we receive. Our community generously demonstrates that truth so magnanimously that even Spirit is impressed!
Financials are available upon request. Remembering that thoughts are creative and what we focus on expands, we are actively focusing on the love and gratitude we are as a community. We ARE the Power of Love in Action!
Our total reach for the week (Solid Grounds, Sunday service and classes) = 129
