Attached is the Parish Quarterly Report, which includes June 2022 totals, as well as numbers for the second quarter and the giving report. As always, feel free to contact me or Amy if you have any questions or concerns.

Christ Church is going to Ichetucknee Springs on Saturday, August 13, 2022. We will caravan from the church parking lot at 7:00 a.m. to travel to Fort White, Florida, to Ichetucknee Springs State Park for a fun day of canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. You will want to dress appropriately and perhaps bring a light wrap to wear at the end of the trip. The waters there are a quite chilly 78°. Please plan to join us in this fun outing.

Community outreach, the first 2 Sundays in August we will be collecting school supplies for local public schools. Notebook paper, packs of pencils, rubber erasers, crayons, blunt nose scissors. There will be a bin in the narthex on August 14th.

The Stitchers of Love are now meeting twice a month on the first and third Sundays in the Parish Hall from 4 to 6 p.m. All are welcome. We will teach anyone who is interested in learning to knit or crochet. The next meeting is August 21st.

CAC Project Update: Keep those stuffed animals coming. The Children's Advocacy Center appreciates our donations of stuffed animals to comfort the children who come to the center for appointments. They schedule over 125 appointments each month, so we can always use more. If you have questions, please contact Patricia Marks at spmarks@bellsouth.net, or Julia Ariail at juliacariail@gmail.com. Thanks for your help.

Sunday Evening Vespers - a group of Christ Church members meet on Zoom (2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays) at 6:00 p.m. to read the Compline Service, pages 127-135 in the Book of Common Prayer and for friendly conversation afterwards. The first and third Sundays of the month we will meet in-person, but will make an audio recording available after Vespers for those unable to attend in-person. To join the group and receive the link to the weekly gathering, contact Phyllis Hiers or call 229-563-2464.
