Georgia Beer Company cannot host us for our chosen night for Pub Night, Thursday, March 17th. It's St. Patrick's Day and they will not have the space. Lenten schedule constraints will push us to Monday evening, March 28th at 7:00 p.m. Let's gather then at Georgia Beer Company in the pump house. We'll set the next date then. The topic for this gathering, chosen by the group--Evangelism.

It has been a blessing to serve at Christ Church. I am on the Altar Guild, a Lay Eucharistic Minister, a Lay Eucharistic Visitor, an Acolyte, a Lector, a Daughter of the King, help with the college service and am on a Lunch Bunch team. With such a wonderful and caring church family, Christ Church is a very special place and I try to help the services to go smoothly.

   It is an honor to serve as your Senior Warden. I have served with much prayer and love. I know that decisions are not taken lightly. Everyone has input and there is always much to consider. I have faithfully served and strive to always put the needs of the church first and be open to other opinions. I feel we must be good stewards of the business side of our church. This helps us continue the mission and ministries of Christ Church.

Noon Folk Mass - Please consider joining us on Sunday, March 20th for our 12:00 p.m. Folk Mass. The Folk Mass will be held Sundays at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and use the music from the Caritas. All are welcome to attend this service.

Live-Streaming the 10:00 service on March 20, 2022.

Please join us during our live-stream 10:00 Holy Eucharist Service via Facebook live, or YouTube. We can now live-streaming to these two platforms simultaneously complete with Liturgy, and Music. We will send out a link via email once the livestream begins recording. If we have technical difficulties with on of the platforms, once the service has ended we will upload a recording of that service as soon as we can.

We will be having an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 17, 2022, immediately following the 10:00 worship service. We are in need of pre-filled Easter eggs. Eggs can be dropped off at the church office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9-12, or given to Keri Wilkin. Thank you for any assistance you can lend.

Preschool Spring Fling Open House Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10-12. A flyer of the event is found here. Come out and support our preschool and meet the families that attend during the Open House.

Tuesday Night Bible study (on Monday nights through Lent), led by Dr. Willa Valencia, will meet on March 14th at the home of Ron & Tammy Borders, 1718 Williams Street. We have changed the meeting day to Monday during Lent. All adults vaccinated against the Covid virus are welcome (Some of our participants have compromised immune systems). The meeting last an hour: 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Bring your bible, any version.

The Stuffed Animal Project for the Children's Advocacy Center is off to a great start. Thanks to those who donated so generously. The CAC has approximately 125+ clients each month. Thanks to our donations all had a stuffed animal to hold last month. They need more every month. Keep up the good work. Two donations are in the photograph above.

Sunday Evening Vespers - a group of Christ Church members meet on Zoom at 6:30 p.m. to read the Compline Service, pages 127-135 in the Book of Common Prayer and for friendly conversation afterwards.
