IN SEARCH OF OUR NEW RECTOR

Hard copies of the survey will be available in the narthex this last week.
Please take the time this week and fill out the survey if you haven’t already - either online, or via a hardcopy. This is the last week scheduled for the survey to be open. Thanking you in advance for your contribution to the survey.

May 15, Rogation Day Outdoor Worship
Sunday, May 15th we will combine all services into a 10 am Rogation Day service on the front lawn at 10 am. That service will include a procession around the perimeter of the church property, so please dress informally and in walking shoes. During the procession we will chant and pray.
This originally was an agricultural feast in France in the Fifth Century. It's been broadened to include prayers for agriculture, commerce, and the environment.
We will enjoy an outdoor picnic lunch afterwards with The Men in Blue doing the grilling. If we have rain, we will worship and process indoors and dine in the parish hall.

|
Rogation Day Lunch
Following the outdoor Rogation Day service on May 15th the Men in Blue will be providing hot dogs and hamburgers straight from the grill. We will eat outside and are keeping the meal simple. Finger food is the goal! There will be two sign-up sheets at the coffee hour on May 8th - one to register so we can have an approximate number and the other for food. You can also contact Kim in the church office by phone (229-242-5115) or email to sign up.
Coleslaw for the hot dogs
Chili for the hot dogs
Trays of sliced tomatoes, lettuce pieces, and sliced onions for the hamburgers.
Trays of vegetables - carrot slices, peppers, cucumbers, etc.
Small individual bags of chips
Fresh fruit plates - watermelon, melons, strawberries, grapes, etc.
Dessert - brownies, blondies, rice krispy treats, cookies -
Condiments and drinks will be provided.
Please sign up in parish hall on the 8th, or notify the church office.

|
Live-streaming Update
In general, your streaming team members will have the broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube by 9:55 a.m. This early start will give remote participants time to adjust their viewing platform as needed and to hear the organ prelude before the worship service starts soon after 10:00 a.m. As always, comments on the live streaming ministry can be sent to the church office to be relayed to the team members.
