After incorporating a competing store, "Family Dollar", the "Dollar Tree" company soon realized there were many more low-cost grocery stores they had to worry about. This led to mass shutdowns of "Family Dollar" stores, and a massive rebranding, or promotion of the classic "Dollar Tree".
