Feature Article: People Are Going Out Again, but Not to the Office

“An average of 33% of the workforce returned to the office during the first week of February”
This statistic is based upon 10 major metropolitan areas. Flip this around and the statistic is even more astonishing to read: Approximately 67% of the workforce is choosing to stay home and work remotely.
Incredible, however not really surprising. People like the convenience of working from home and current technology allows them to do so. Not only is this having an impact on office space leasing and utilization, it is also having a significant impact on businesses that cater to those offices and employees who work in central business districts, ie: restaurants etc.
