That is apparently continuing, which is an unsurprising reality and certainly a long-term residual impact of the covid epidemic. One company (as mentioned in the attached article) almost doubled the number of its employees yet needs far less office space than they currently lease. Working remotely is apparently quite popular and will have a lasting impact on office leasing / investment as employers continue to recognize their employees can perform their responsibilities from home.
