According a article from Marcus & Millichap consumers are spending more due to the recent stimulus checks and distribution of vaccine. In March, retail sales signaled an economic turnaround. Restaurants sales are back up and running along with other categories of retail. With a total of 17.9% annual gain in core retail sales, and 8.2% monthly increase in core retail sales both in the month of March is causing a boom in the retail industry.
