The first Escape to Loveland Swim Challenge is complete!!
And the winner with 83,050 yards was PJ Arling!! PJ won a $100 gift card to Fleet Feet for having overall top swim yardage but was unable to attend the social because he was at swim practice. That reason checks out.
Rounding out the top three was Catherine Maloney in second with 65,950 yards and David Whelan in third with 56,748 yards. David just edged out Mitch Baker in a close fourth place with 56,025 yards. And I'm tired just typing that! Great work everyone!
Fun fact. Everyone in the swim challenge combined swam over A MILLION yards. So, as a club, the yards reported in March were enough to get us to NYC. WOW!
Now for the raffles from the social/awards ceremony held at Narrow Path last night!
Nathan Martin won the Queen City Tri entry
Winners of the the $25 gift card to Fleet Feet:
Chris Owens (also happy birthday)
Mitch Baker (now he has to start running)
Bob Wassel (he says he should have won it all)
Dan Fleshour or Phil Fleshour (Phil check on that)
Ted Hyle (he paid for the beer so he deserves it)
Raffles were random out of a blender shaker which should be how all raffles are done from now on.
Thanks to Justin Roush for putting this challenge together!
